On 11 October 1967, at 16:03 (approximately), I entered this world; only son of Michael James O’Donnell and Cathy Jane O’Donnell (née Simons) and firstborn child. While I don’t exactly feel like “six times nine,” I also lack the faculties of Deep Thought to comprehend why I should—or should not. All I can do is thank my parents, my family, and my friends for putting up with me this long. I hope you’ll suffer through another forty-two or so before you’re all rid of me
